📅 December 8, 2025 — Vial
Dynamic Photo Area Filters & Group Edit Mode
Overview
A new way to manage photos across multiple areas at once. You can now select several areas, turn on Group Edit, and upload or remove photos for all of them in a single step. Photos are automatically organized into:
- Global Photos – used across all selected areas
- Site-Specific Photos – used only in particular areas
This makes it easy to see exactly where each photo applies.
Multi-Area Photo Management
- Upload and delete photos across multiple areas with one action.
- Photos automatically sort into Global vs. Site-Specific depending on where they’re used.
- Reduces repetitive, area-by-area photo work.
Improved Interface
- A new Area Filter lets you multi-select the areas you want to work on.
- A Group Edit toggle clearly indicates when bulk actions are enabled.
- Global and Site-Specific photos are shown in separate sections with tooltips explaining where each photo is used.
Time-Saving Highlights
- Perform photo updates for several areas at once instead of repeating the same action.
- Tooltips give quick context on which areas use each photo.
- Fewer clicks and simpler flows for complex photo libraries.

Clarifies how unassigned action items and missing due dates appear when working in drafts.
Improvements
- Action items without an assigned user now clearly display as “Unassigned.”
- When no due date is chosen, the system now shows “No due date” so status is easier to understand at a glance.

Overview
Focuses on performance, automatic protection of work in progress, and a smoother reporting experience.

- Automatic Draft Saving
- Drafts automatically save in the background, protecting work if the browser closes or the user navigates away.
- Improved Event Recovery
- Events that previously didn’t match the expected “topic” are now safely retried, supporting more reliable data capture behind the scenes.

- Compliance Reports load much faster once table data is ready.

- Feedback forms with many KPIs now open and respond more quickly

- The header now shows pending events from both the active draft and the backup queue, giving a fuller view of what’s still syncing

Overview
Improves schedule reliability and adds self-service tools to repair schedules after configuration changes.
Maintenance Tools
- Automatic tools now detect and repair schedules impacted when:
- Feedback forms are changed

Strengthens scheduling and reporting workflows across web and mobile.

- Scheduling & Tasks
- You can now set due date times directly in the scheduling UI.
- Schedules show a Completed At column to clarify when tasks were finished.
- An archive option in the Edit Schedule view makes it easier to manage older schedules.
- Extended submission window support allows audits completed up to 24 hours after the due date plus any grace period to still count as on time.
- Due date times are more visible throughout scheduling.

- Reports can now be sent to user groups, not just individual users.
- A button in completed tasks lets you jump directly to the related audit.
Fixes
- Corrected a scheduling edge case around November 2 in Los Angeles (Daylight Saving Time) that could cause task lists to break.
- Fixed time zone issues when rescheduling “this and next” tasks.
- Ensured the audit schedule table loads new results reliably, even at unusual browser zoom levels.
- Adjusted the Audit Compliance Report to properly account for grace periods, ensuring all relevant audits are counted.
📅 October 9, 2025 — Mobile Hotfix for Scheduling (iOS & Android)

- Optimized how the app handles background connections on iOS so real-time updates resume more smoothly when the app is reopened.

- Resolved a situation where tasks could be started slightly before their intended start time depending on the user’s time zone. Tasks now respect their configured start times.

Overview
Introduces a Draft Sync Cloud so users always know the status of their draft synchronization.
What’s New
- A cloud icon shows whether drafts are syncing, pending, or fully up to date.
- Users can see:
- Number of pending changes
- Online/offline status
- Sync errors
- Last successful sync time
- If pending changes stop updating, it signals a potential sync issue, prompting users to check connectivity.

📅 September 4, 2025 — Atlas Chat Bot
Overview
- Replaced the prior Zendesk chat bot with the Atlas chat bot for a more integrated support experience.
Behavior
- When the same user is logged in across multiple tabs, chat stays synchronized.
- Different users on the sign-in page each see their own conversation history.
- Reloading the sign-in page preserves that user’s chat history.
- After logging in, chats from the sign-in page are replaced with the logged-in user’s past chats.
- After logging out, all chats are cleared for privacy.

Overview
- Strengthens the reliability of draft connections so events are accepted and stored properly.

- Updated reconnection logic to fully close a stale connection before creating a new one.
- This ensures the server recognizes the connection and continues to accept draft events, greatly reducing the chance of losing work.

- General Performance Optimization We’ve improved the overall performance of our backend, resulting in faster load times and smoother navigation.
- Compliance Report Performance Boost Significant improvements have been made to the Compliance Report, ensuring quicker data processing and enhanced responsiveness.
- Aggregate Calculations Optimization Calculations within the Compliance Report are now more accurate and efficient.
- New: Notify User Functionality in MySchedule A new Notify User feature has been added to the Schedule Editor in the MySchedule section this allows users to create schedules without notifying users unless they choose to.
- New: Duplicate Schedule Option Users can now duplicate existing schedules within the MySchedule section, making it easier to reuse and adapt prior schedules.
- Flexible Start Date for Report Scheduling The Start Date option in the Report Scheduler now allows users to select dates up to 1 year in advance.
