Anything else I should know?

Device

WiFi - confirm and regularly test/check your connection 

Screen Brightness - turn it all the way up  

Battery - device is connected to a power supply if being used at a kiosk  

Disable Auto-Lock - this will keep the screen from turning off 

 Keyboard (Android) - be sure to use your device's default keyboard  

 Home Button - block it, either through device settings or the kiosk itself 

Kiosk

Case/Enclosure - make sure the fit is nice and snug, and that it is locked; if using as a community tablet, ensure there is a hangout/collection procedure in place

Location - place in central area that is easily visible and accessible from where your audience enjoys your service

Awareness - engage with your audience about the kiosk and the valuable feedback they can provide through it
